Hello, my family and I decided quite spontaneously at that; to hike the trail to the Fire Tower from the Millbrook Rd parking area. I believe it was a six mile round trip. Took three hours, spent little time at the summit as we were definitely not in shape to do this hike! Very windy and sleeting at the summit. We went as far up the tower as we dared due to the strong winds and slippery steps from the sleet. Unfortunately this was not far enought to see over the tree line. I did this hike around 25 years ago when I was 20; and I remember the spectacular views from the tower. Your 360 degree view shots bring back nice memories. I think I rember having been able to drive up most of the way back then, and only having to walk from where the metal rail blocks off the road. I did not even know that there was another way to get to the tower. Someone told me you can get there from Alder Lake? Would like to do more hiking again; however I have ankle injuries which leave me walking around my home with a cane for a day after an excursion like this.

Julie,

You did an awesome job. Some of these shots capture the exact feeling of the moment. I'm still deciding which ones I want to order prints of, but I know I'm going to want all of them on a CD. It was a very special day. Thank you for your wonderful work.

Random question: I am starting my own blog to share my photography experiences. Do you find it hard or easy to post consistently?

Top page on right >Go to settings > Application settings>Find links and CHOOSE edit settings> go to additional permissions, make sure public to streams is clicked. This should work now at publishing You tube and any other links!
Yay!

You need to select "Edit Page" to get to your editing page. Look for "More Applications" and the pencil should be next to that.
